Michelle Premeaux is a commercial litigation and criminal defense attorney.  Formerly a deputy Prosecuting Attorney and before that, a litigation associate in one of Honolulu's premier law firms, she now concentrates on business disputes, tort claims  and criminal defense at De Costa Hempey.  She works primarily on complex civil litigation and advising commercial clients.  

Craig De Costa is the former Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Kauai. He has prosecuted and defended virtually every type of criminal issue in Hawaii. Mr. De Costa is one of the most experienced trial lawyers on Kauai, and he will work to defend you or your loved ones against all serious criminal charges.
Daniel Hempey has tried hundreds of cases to verdict. He has won numerous appeals in the Hawaii Supreme Court and has been lead counsel on some of Hawaii's most important cases. He has been named by Superlawyers as among the top 5% of Hawaii's attorneys. His practice includes personal injury, auto accident and insurance litigation, wrongful death, civil rights, criminal defense and appeals. He has dedicated much of his legal career to public justice. He has served as a judge pro tempore in California and currently serves as a Judge Per Diem in the Kauai Family Court in addition to his law practice. Admitted in Hawaii, New York, California, Maryland and Virginia as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
